When is Veloana available?
We start with an Android beta for early-access users, then expand from there.
Which languages are supported?
Arabic and English at launch.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your recordings are used only to generate your feedback, and you control retention.
Does it work for students?
Yes — ideal for capstone projects, academic presentations, and early-career interviews.
How much does it cost?
Pricing will be announced at commercial launch. Early access stays free during beta.
How is this different from just practicing alone or writing notes?
Practicing alone can't tell you how you actually sound. Veloana turns a session into specific feedback on clarity, structure, and pacing, and tracks those signals across sessions instead of relying on gut feel.
Does Veloana work without an internet connection?
No. Feedback is generated server-side, so you need an internet connection while you practice.
Is Veloana available on iPhone / iOS?
Not yet. We're starting with an Android beta. Join early access and we'll let you know as availability expands.
How does the AI actually generate feedback?
Your recording is transcribed, then evaluated on things like clarity, answer structure, pacing and speaking rate, filler words, and how well the content fits the scenario you chose — with concrete suggestions for your next attempt.
How is Veloana different from practicing with a friend?
A friend gives you a general impression, and usually a kind one. Veloana applies the same criteria every session — clarity, structure, pacing, filler words — so you can compare attempts over time. It's also available whenever you are, with no scheduling.
Can teachers or schools use Veloana?
Students benefit from it directly for presentations and vivas. There's no dedicated classroom or institution dashboard today; if that's what you need, email us and we'll factor it into planning.
What language does the feedback come in?
Feedback is delivered in Arabic or English, matching the language you choose for the session.
Does Veloana store my recordings forever?
No. Recordings are used to generate your feedback, and the app will let you delete your account and its associated data from inside the app. The privacy policy has the full detail.
Is there a free plan?
Early access is free during beta. We haven't announced what pricing looks like after that.
Do I need a special microphone?
No. Your phone's microphone is enough. A reasonably quiet room matters more, so the transcription stays accurate.
